HEALTHWAY ALLOCATION CONFIRMED See Allocation HERE
The provisional period of April to December this year has seen an increased number of applicants over a shortened term. Unfortunately this means funding has had to be spread rather thinly. Look out for your Event Kits, to be sent out directly from Healthway. If you don't receive it soon please call Vanessa tand she will follow up for you. All sorts of Go for 2&5 signage is available from the EWA Office for your event, please call Vanessa to arrange pick up. Healthway resources see  HERE

EWA MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS...... please note if you are competing after July 1 and are not up-to-date you will not have the benefit of insurance. There is no grace period.

ATTENTION CLUBS AND EVENT ORGANISERS
The Incident Report Form is now loaded onto the website http://www.equestrianwa.org.au/default.asp?MenuID=Clubs/14197/7457 . It needs to be completed if any accident occurs at any competition/ training day. No matter how minor it may seem please fill in this form. A copy should be retained by the club, a copy forwarded to EWA Office and one to AON (whose address appears at bottom of form).This becomes a record of an incident in the event that someone may claim now or into the future.

WINTER INDOOR JUMPING TRAINING
Book now for evening jumping training on the indoor arena each Thursday night throughout July and August.
Coach is Nell Henry Level II and is open to EWA/SEC members $45 per rider. First session 6pm up to 80cm, second session from 7.30pm over 80cm.  Contact reception on 9296 1200 to book your session.
INDOOR DRESSAGE TRAINING DAYS
fully booked – extra dates added Monday August 16. A/B level judge, $25 for 20 minute slot, ride any test, get feedback and ride again. Great interactive way to improve your test riding. Riders on reserve list will get first option - please contact the SEC on 92961200 to book.

PUT ON YOUR DANCING SHOES AND CANTER TOWARDS KENTUCKY!
A wonderful night out for equestrian enthusiasts will also provide a fundraising opportunity to help four of Australia’s top eventing riders – Megan Jones, Sonja Johnson, Stuart Tinney and Christopher Burton. The formal dinner to be held on Friday 3rd September at the Crowne Plaza Norwest, Sydney will be followed by dancing and a fundraising auction. In October 2010 a team from Australia will be competing in eventing at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, USA - these four Australian based riders are currently in contention for team selection. Proceeds from the evening will assist Megan, Sonja, Stuart and Chris during their selection campaign in Australia and possible overseas travel. LOOKOUT FOR PRIORITY BLAST COMING!

TO YOUNG RIDERS ELIGIBLE FOR THE NATIONAL YOUNG RIDER SERIES,
Please be advised The 2010 PERTH ROYAL SHOW will be hosting the first Western Australian round of the National Young Rider Selection Series on Monday 27 September.
Class 462 shown in the schedule as the Young Rider Mini Prix will be the class for National Young Rider Selection Series.
The "no horse and rider combination is permitted to compete in both Young Rider and Open Graded classes"  does not apply to this class only, and riders eligible for the Selection Series may enter class 462 with horses entered in Part One, Two or Three as well as horses entered in classes 463 and 464 only. SWAN RIVER SHOWJUMPING CLUB ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS WEEKEND
Saturday-Sunday, 28-29 August at Brookleigh
The programme and online entries for SRSJC's two-day 2010 Annual Club Championships will be available by Monday, 2 August on www.globalentriesonline.com.au. Events include championship classes with rugs and cash prizes for Pony and Junior Jumpers, Young Rider, D Grade under 6 Points, D Grade, C&B Grade plus Young Masters Qualifiers, Horse of the Year Qualifier and more.....
2010 Hi Points Winners will be announced at the Championships.
Be sure to get entries in early, as class sizes will be limited and classes fill fast.

As the Federal election is also being held on the Saturday of the event, voters can either do a postal vote before the event or visit the Polling Booth at the Wooroloo School on the day of the event.

Please note that the Dressage for all classes i.e. 3 DE and ODE are to be held on Friday 20th August at Brigadoon.  Cross Country is at Wooroloo on Saturday 21st together with Showjumping for Intro and Preliminary classes.  Showjumping for Pre novice and the Star classes on Sunday 22nd August at Brigadoon.
The compulsory riders meeting at 18.30 hrs on the 20th August is for FEI riders only!!!
