Overview of EFA Riding and Personal Skills Certificates

EFA Riding and Personal Skills Certificates provide all riders, drivers and vaulters with a measure of their abilities and a series of goals to achieve in their riding to complement competition goals. Riding Certificates also form a prerequisite to EFA Coaching Courses and are offered from Introductory level to Level 2 and include General, Dressage, Jumping, Eventing and Carriage Driving Personal Skills.

Theory and Practical training is delivered in a flexible home-study manner using comprehensive workbooks and recommended reading. Study may be with done with coaches, Coach Educators or other industry experts. Assessments are performed by EFA Coach Educators either in a formal workshop setting or in a one-on-one setting using the prescribed activity slips in each EFA workbook.

The EFA offers riding certificates to the general public and all EFA members. The delivery is flexible to your needs. You don’t even need to own a horse. All the training and assessments may be done on borrowed or riding school horses
