Overview of EFA Riding and Personal Skills Certificates
Theory and Practical training is delivered in a flexible home-study manner using comprehensive workbooks and recommended reading. Study may be with done with coaches, Coach Educators or other industry experts. Assessments are performed by EFA Coach Educators either in a formal workshop setting or in a one-on-one setting using the prescribed activity slips in each EFA workbook.
Course Outlines
Introductory Riding- A certificate for beginner and recreational riders in flatwork only
Associate Lunger Certificate - Enables a Lunger to lunge at unofficial competition and is completed before the Official Lunger Certificate
Level One General Riding - For riders in lower levels of EFA competition in Dressage Jumping and Eventing
Level One Dressage Riding- For riders competeing to Elementary EFA Dressage competition
Level One Showhorse Riding - For riders in Show Horse competitions (release March 2009)
Level One Carriage Driving Personal Skills- For drivers at lower levels of EFA competition in single harness and pairs
Official Lungers Certificate- Enables a Lunger to lunge at official competition
Level Two General Riding- For riders in medium to advanced levels of EFA competition in Dressage Jumping & Eventing
Level Two Dressage Riding - For riders up to Advanced EFA Dressage
Level Two Jumping Riding - For riders up to EFA A & B Grade competition
Level Two Eventing Riding- For Riders up FEI** competition (EFA Intermediate Level)
