2010 CHAMPIONSHIPS  9TH - 11TH APRIL

NATIONALS

At last some news on the Nationals attached is the list of those of you who have qualified to go to the National Championships to be held Horsley Park (home of the 2000 Equestrian Olympics) NSW is September 22, 23 & 24th. 2010.

At the moment we are not sure if there will be any funding from Interschool WA to assist with the trip, but there is plenty of time for those of you who have qualified to start to make some plans towards fundraising!!

I will email all those who have qualified and ask them for an expression of interest to participate ASAP.
See HERE for the list of National Qualifiers.

As you will see it is the top 4 riders in each division of each discipline that qualify. If any of those riders do not wish to go it will be at the discretion of the committee of Interschool WA to invite riders who were placed lower; it is not as assumption that if you know the person placed above you in a class is not going that you will be invited, the committee will review every case to ensure that the team that goes to represent WA will all be competent to participate.

At the moment we do not know if any pool horses/ponies will be available but as soon as Interschool NSW contacts us we will let you all know.

When you let us know (via email only please    interschoolwa@bigpond.com ) if you wish to travel or think you would please indicate if you would be looking for a pool horse / pony so that we have a rough idea of how many WA would need.

I do hope that you have all managed to write to the Sponsors to thank them for their most generous continued support of this event. Without their support we would not be able to continue to run this event!! So it is crucial that you all acknowledge their support, you all know who our major sponsors are, Go for 2 & 5, Prestige Loans, Horseland, Careers in Racing and the Bullsbrook Veterinary Clinic.

I hope you all spent some time viewing the fabulous photos taken by Redfoto, if not go to

I still have a lot of Dressage Sheets left if you would like them please send me a SSAE and I will post them back, I will keep them until the end on the month and then into the round filing bin under my desk!!!

Look foward to hearing from those of you who have qualified please let me know if you intend to travel if we have not heard back from you by the end of the month (Monday 31st.) we will assume that you do not intend to travel!!

Please keep the committee informed if you are planning any fundraising as we can advertise your event in the newsletter.

Many thanks
Billy Hawes
